FundRazePrivacy Policy

The short version: FundRaze checks text messages on your iPhone and nowhere else. We don't collect, store, sell, or share your messages or any personal information. The app has no account, no ads, no analytics, and no server that receives your data. This website uses no cookies or trackers.
1. Who we are
This policy covers the FundRaze iPhone app (the "App") and the website at fundraze.app (the "Site"), operated by the FundRaze developer ("FundRaze," "we," "us"). Questions: dev@fundraze.app.
2. How the App handles your messages
- On-device only. When you turn on FundRaze as an SMS filter, iOS passes the App the text of messages from senders who are not in your contacts, along with the sender's number or address. FundRaze decides on your device whether the message should go to Junk. The message and sender are never sent to us or anyone else.
- No network access for filtering. The App's message filter does not connect to the internet. We do not operate a server that receives messages.
- Messages from your contacts are never shown to the App by iOS.
- Nothing is deleted. Filtered messages go to the Junk list in Apple's Messages app, where you can still read them. Apple, not FundRaze, controls that list.
3. Information you choose to save in the App
You can add "blocked words," "safe words," change settings, and save example messages you've labeled. This information is stored only on your device (in storage shared between the App and its message filter). It is not sent to us. If you use "Export examples," the App creates a file and the iOS share sheet lets you choose where it goes; we receive it only if you send it to us yourself.
4. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, phone number, contacts, location, device identifiers, message content, or usage analytics. The App contains no advertising, analytics, or tracking software and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
5. The Site
The Site is a simple informational website. It sets no cookies and uses no analytics, ads, or third-party scripts of our own. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, protects the Site from attacks and may automatically keep standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, and the page requested) for security and reliability; we don't use them to identify you. Cloudflare may add its own small scripts. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message, and use it only to reply.
6. Apple and third parties
Downloads, payments, crash reports you opt into, and App Store reviews are handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. Your wireless carrier and Apple's Messages app are governed by their own policies. We are not responsible for the practices of third parties, including any site linked from ours (such as Instagram).
7. Children
The App and Site are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
8. Your rights
Because we don't collect personal information, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, delete, or export on your behalf. You control everything the App stores: you can edit it in the App or remove it all by deleting the App. If you've emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, ask at dev@fundraze.app. These choices apply wherever you live, including under laws such as the CCPA/CPRA and GDPR.
9. Security
Keeping your data on your device is the strongest protection we can offer. Your device's own security (passcode, Face ID, iOS updates) protects the App's local storage. No method of storage is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes
If we change how the App or Site handles information, we'll update this page and its effective date. If a change would mean collecting personal information, we'll say so clearly before it takes effect.
